Ø The police – The police are usually
included in all crime films whether they succeed in their findings or not is a

in ‘AwayDays’ there is a big group of people who look to be hooligans or
criminals and they look as if they are in a fight with another group
Ø Weapons – Many weapons are used in
the crime film ‘Killing Them Softly’ signifying to the audience that it is a
crime film
Ø Special FX makeup – Special FX
makeup can be used to make the actors appear as if they have open wounds
